A total of 21 German wine producers will be featured at the joint stand, complemented by a further 9 German exhibitors on the exhibition grounds. Together they will be presenting over one hundred premium wines from the diverse German wine-growing regions. The joint German stand is located at stand F204-1.

Riesling inspires as Asia's new „liquid gold“

This year's presentation comes at a time when German Riesling is becoming increasingly important in the Asian markets. Increasingly celebrated as the „new liquid gold“, Riesling is enjoying great recognition from both trade visitors and consumers alike – particularly due to its clarity, versatility and outstanding suitability as a food accompaniment, especially in Asian cuisine. Its characteristic balance of freshness, fruit and acidity makes it an important driver of German export success in markets such as Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan and South Korea.

Moderated tastings and „German Wine Mini-Classes“

During the three-day fair, the tasting area of the German pavilion will offer a series of nine themed „German Wine Mini-Classes“ led by guest lecturer and certified German Wine Educator Corinne Mui. Participation is possible without prior registration and is on a first come, first served basis.

In addition, visitors can taste a curated selection of wines from the exhibitors at the tasting stand throughout the day. The program offers insights into Germany’s renowned sparkling wine sector, as well as a professional introduction to the German wine classification system. Guided tastings will illustrate the stylistic diversity of German Rieslings - from dry to sparkling - and highlight their growing importance in Asian markets. In addition, the terroir-driven character of German Spätburgunders is presented, impressively emphasising the breadth and quality of the German wine portfolio.

Leading global platform for the wine and spirits industry

As one of the world's leading platforms for the wine and spirits industry, the trade fair brings together buyers from over 60 countries and regions with top exhibitors from more than 30 nations and wine-growing regions.
