A striking stele at the Bensheimer Paulus vineyard marks the Best Vineyard View in the Hessische Bergstraße region for 2012. The site provides unique, panoramic views extending from the Starkenburg region in the south, to the Ried landscape and Rhine Rift Valley, and beyond to the wooded knolls of the Palatinate Forest and the Donnersberg in the west.
The northern view sweeps over Bensheim and the Hemsberg. A small terrace at the lookout point with tables and benches is an ideal place to rest and enjoy the view, as well as sampling a glass of the local wine.
