Winery Breuer Vino - Outstanding Vinotheque in Rheingau

Opened in May 2017, the Vinothek at the historic site of the Georg Breuer winery invites you to taste the wines in peace, away from the hustle and bustle of Rüdesheim. In the past, the space was a tank farm, office and also an estate bar. Now it houses the airy and tidy vinotheque. The concrete structure was left visible and rough, the wooden furniture is glazed in cool gray tones, blue tones set subtle accents. The walls of the vinotheque are covered with selected works of art, which also gives the ensemble a bit of studio character.

Growing area Rheingau

The Rheingau wine-growing region is among the most renowned in Germany. Its vineyards cover a total of 3,117 hectares (as of 2025). They begin near Frankfurt am Main and extend across Wiesbaden for roughly 50 kilometers along the right bank of the Rhine, reaching as far as Lorch, north of Rüdesheim.
